Education week : raising boys and girls

Ahaks..dalam sibuk-sibuk kemas dan packing barang, masih ada lagi ruang untuk berblog. Came to idea wriiting this topic after my playgroup mate across to this question" how do you raise your boys and girls?" Urmm..interesting, since I've got 4 boys and a girl, would like to now what is the best tips on raising boys and girls.

We all came out with a few idea but share the same opinion. Raising boys and girls diffrently, but equally, is not always easy. These are a few ideas that I manage to collect from our playgroup discussion( worth it tau bayar $1 untuk satu session)

Girls
- Emphasise intelligence, hard work, independence, sensitivity, and preservance in your daughter. We should encourage them in "dressing up" and tell them they are beautiful but de-emphasise the important of apprearance in relation to their value
(I've started it slowly with my daughter about this and she's seems like it)
-Encourage our daughterto achieve. Set high expectations for our daughter as for our sons
(We always told this to our daughter as well to our sons, and she's improving now. Before this is
- Encorage our daughter to read stories about succesful women.(My daughter really like to read about Queen Elizabeth..consider succesful la kan )

Our babies all grown UP! Please don't grow up too fast :)

This young lad always make a smile to my face. he looks happy in school, entering to 3 weeks, i can leave him at school alone. He looks so happy at school and already know how to manage himself. Legaaaaa mak ini.

He talks a lot and also makes a lot of drama. Our young lad is 6 yo this year and next year he going to enter primary school. Hopefully he can do well in school and I already fell the emptiness in the house.

Our first-born already grown up..soon she gonna sit for her SPM exam, our second-born lives in the hostel far away from us, third born also will be in secondary school next year. gosh! all my babies are grown up,how time flies so fast...Your smile, which you freely give to so many people, leaves them smiling too.You guys bring laughter to this family every day. You all are so beautiful and perfect, so absolutely amazing.Anyway, regardless if you're all grown up, you will always be my baby.

Master #5 Went To School

Heehehe...unusual moment for me. I decide to send my master#5 to school because he is so tangling with me. I'm afraid when the time arrive to send him  to school, I'm gonna have BIG, big trouble.

The moment of shopping, he was so excited. choosing his school shoes, shirts and pants. For awhile I was so relief. The day arrived and as I expected, he won't let me go. I had to stay with him at SCHOOL for about 4 hours! can you image that!

First day of school , he whatsapping his Ayah. I keep his msg because it is so funny and sweet. We never send him to any kindergarten before this yet he can read fluently by himself( only in BI)..sighhh.. I want him to go and learn like other normal kids..

Begging to his Ayah to back home early!this young lad really make my day..hahahhaha

I'm not a big fan of her but I really admire her inspired father. Thank you YB for your humbleness. I had to stop her and ask to take picture with me. heehh me again with my jakuness.

Spotted my knight carrying his little army. Quickly I take out my hp and just snapped it. Don't want again..to miss the moment. Priceless!

Frozen karipap

:)

Sejak tinggal di Christchurch dulu lagi, kita dah mula bisnes kecil-kecilan karipap beku;). bila balik malaysia, beberapa tahun selepas tu baru datang ilham nak buat balik.

so uolls kalau nak order karipap frozen untuk kudap-kudap bolehla Pm kita tepi-tepi :)hihihih

Nah belanja gambar karipapa satu!

CAUTION : This is back-dated Post!

This is only for our memories. sometimes gambar-gambar ni semua hilang, habis moment- moment terindah. Taken a few months back. Just to keep it here.
This is our precious! We are so lucky for having them in our life. Always be with us trough thick and thin.

We can never count Allah's Blessings:

Be ever grateful to Allah for everything that you possess including your wealth, health, status, intellectual abilities and life. Allah says:
"Is, then, He Who creates comp4arable to any that cannot create? Will you not, then, take heed? For should you try to count Allah's blessings, you could never compute them" (An-Nahl 16:17-19).
Our breakfast session at one of family's fav stall. Eating chapati, Tossai and nasi lemak!
Another session of breakfast berjemaah :)

Back-dated Post - Marble Cake

Oppss! recently I posted a recipe of marble cake. Today I posted again but using different recipe. should be your recipe keeper.

Did you know that the idea of marbling two different colors of batter into a cake originated in nineteenth century Germany.!these cake made their ways to America with German immigrants before Civil war.

Hurmmm..seem like the story of Pavlova.Who can resist a slice?

Deliciously moist and rich, this is definitely THE best ever cake for marble cake lovers. One piece is never enough . Go on, you deserve it.

Ingredients
1 1/4 cup self raising flour
1/2 cup salted butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
3 eggs, room temperature
1 1/2 tsp almond extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup very hot water

You will also need
8- or 9-inch loaf pan or dish, electric mixer, two mixing bowls , whisk

Total Time: 1 Hour 15 Minutes
Servings: One 9-inch marble cake loaf

Method:

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease the pan with some butter.

Mix the flour and the baking powder together and sieve. Add in salt and mix well. Set aside.

Use an electronic beater to mix butter and sugar until well combined or pale yellow in color. Add in the first egg. Beat well after each addition of egg until creamy. Scrape down the sides and add in vanilla essence and fold in the flour into the mixture and mix well. Finally, add in the milk.

Divide the batter into two portions. Stir the cocoa powder into one portion and mix well. Transfer the plain batter into the greased baking pan. Shake it lightly to distribute evenly. Pour the cocoa batter in the middle of baking pan, and lightly swirl the cocoa batter with a butter knife.  Do not over mix.
Happy baking uolls!
